L.G.P. has performed numerous R&D projects on development of new high-performance glasses, original sealing glasses, and different glass materials. Glasses developed by L.G.P. for our industrial Customers have been introduced into practice. Other glassed developed internally are considered as basic compositions - candidates for further commercial applications.

• Among glasses discovered by L.G.P. are: fiberglasses of two systems, sealing glasses of three systems, glasses for making kitchenware, cookware and consumer packaging, glass-cement to seal glass with aluminum, and low-melting optical glasses.
• The work on new types of glasses was focused on bringing unique features to the final materials (ultra low dielectric constant in combination with high mechnaical and chemical durability; ultra high hardness and elastic modulus without thermal/chemical tempering; low-CTE combined with low sealing temperature to join tempered glass, etc) keeping cost low.
• We use an original approach for searching, and optimising new glass formulas, so formulating, melting and testing physical properties take shorter period of time;
